Whether you’re planning a big family gathering to mark a momentous occasion, need somewhere pretty to put on the baby shower of dreams, or have a work event that requires a special spot, Wadhurst Castle is a picture-perfect venue, ready to host events of all kinds. The 140 acre private estate is located in The High Weald, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the borders of Kent and Sussex, with glorious views across the countryside, but not too far from London and the rest of the South East.

There are three interconnecting areas that form the reception rooms, including the grand Drawing Room, which has beautifully high ceilings and south-facing windows, flooding the space with light. If you're hoping to host your event outside of the winter months, you can also consider the Carriage Barn, which is situated in its own courtyard and can seat up to 100 guests in a banquet or theatre style. Of course, there's always the stunning outdoor space, like the south lawn, which has gorgeous views of the English countryside and Phoenix Lake, and makes for the perfect setting for a drinks reception or barbecue.

The castle can host up to 130 for an evening celebration, with the team ensuring that each event is tailored to suit your specific needs.
