An old electricity generator for trams in Shoreditch is now an electrifying events space. Presiding over the restaurant’s vast main room is Damien Hirst’s Cock ’n’ Bull artwork, resplendent in formaldehyde. It’s cow and chicken on the menus too – carved at the table, designed to share. As well as the exclusive-use option, there’s a chef ’s table in Mark’s Kitchen Library, a semi-privateMezzanine and, down below, industrial-chic Hix Art, with changing exhibitions.
