Oatlands Park is a Grade-II listed hotel found in Surrey, which doubles up as a historic party venue with 12 event spaces.

For corporate functions, there are four dedicated boardrooms to choose from. These are the Parr, Howard, Surrey and Cedar meeting rooms, which all come equipped with a fixed boardroom table, a flip chart and a TV screen for presentations.

For large-scale events such as charity galas, opt for The York Suite, which is the hotel’s largest-self contained function suite that hosts up to 300 guests for a sit-down meal or 420 for a standing reception. The space offers a full run of amenities, coming complete with its own bar, dance floor, dedicated kitchens and private entrance.

Medium sized affairs such as milestone birthday parties can be accommodated in the Cromwell Suite. This light-filled, high-ceilinged space can welcome up to 50 guests for a sit-down function and also benefits from its own foyer area, an ideal space for pre-dinner drinks.

Similarly, The Drawing Room can accommodate up to 60 guests for seated occasions or 80 for standing. The space, which is licensed for civil ceremonies, is traditional and elegant, featuring ornate pillars and stunning bay windows, as well as a feature fireplace. The room can also be linked to The Garden Room which offers direct access to the Lawn Terrace, making it a great space to utilise as a breakout area or alfresco option.

The Garden Room itself can either be used independently or in conjunction with the Drawing Room. It boasts a feature fireplace with backlit bookshelves and views across the hotel grounds, both of which are great for photo ops.

For those seeking a space which is suitable for all weathers, try La Terrazza which brings the outside in via a retractable roof and glass doors. The space also leads out to the terrace gardens, where artificial grass, a BBQ station and patio heaters ensure its suitability for year-round events.

The refurbished York Suite is our largest self-contained function suite featuring its own private bar, dance floor, dedicated kitchens and separate private entrance. Situated on the ground floor, the York Suite is a combination of York 1, 2 and 3 which combined can host events for up to 400 guests theatre style and dinners for 370. Alternatively, the York can be partitioned between the York 1, 2 & 3 to provide a separate private area suitable for ceremonies or as a breakout and activity area.

I just wanted to thank you and your team for making my husband's 60th birthday celebration such a lovely occasion. From the moment we arrived in the hotel's amazing reception hall, we were made to feel welcome. All the team made sure that everything went smoothly and they were always on hand for whatever we needed. They even took the trouble to take some great photos for us so that we have a lovely record of our afternoon! The room was perfect for the event and the table looked beautiful. The champagne afternoon tea was delicious and the lactose-free version was great, a real treat! My husband really enjoyed his birthday afternoon and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel is and how much they enjoyed the occasion. We hadn't previously visited the Oatlands Park Hotel but we had such a great time that I'm sure we'll be back again before too long.

Thank you to the events team at Oatlands Park Hotel for answering all my questions so patiently and comprehensively (there were quite a few questions in the end, I know), and for organising everything so efficiently for me.  It helped to make our family 'get together' a real pleasure. Everything went exceptionally well on Tuesday, and we all agreed that we had a most enjoyable afternoon tea. Everyone did a marvellous job - the service was friendly, efficient, and very accommodating, and the food was delicious.  One couldn't ask for more.  I have no doubt that my husband and I will be back soon.
