Whether you're admiring it from the outside, or walking into the lobby at Kimpton Fitzroy London, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re in the presence of a palace. The exterior is a grand terracotta coloured building with pastel green turrets, and upon entering you're welcomed by marble walls, mosaic flooring and engraved archways overhead.
Beyond the lobby is a host of rooms available for private hire, of varying size, style and price. Located overlooking the leafy Russell Square, Kimpton Fitzroy offers itself as the perfect location for anything from Bar Mitzvahs through to more corporate affairs. With its proximity to the Piccadilly Line, this also allows easy access for out of towners to arrive via Kings Cross.
Each room brings its own personality, such as Palm Court which boasts a glass ceiling that floors the room with natural light. Trees add a pop of colour to the otherwise neutrally decorated room, and make it easily mistaken for an outdoor courtyard. For something a little more party ready, The Grade II heritage listed Ballroom lends itself to larger events, complete with an ornate coffered ceiling, vast windows and a mezzanine gallery overlooking the main room. With a separate entrance, access to Palm Court, and a capacity for 200 guests, the Ballroom is perfect to create backdrops for special moments worth celebrating.
Offering a more unique experience, Kimpton Fitzroy has a totally equipped Virtual Event Studio, for when bringing delegates together is not economical or efficient. The green screen allows businesses to replicate the nature of physical events, and avoid any cancellations.
For the occasions where a workforce is able to attend in real life, there are also the Carrington & Grant rooms that offer a 50-inch screen and a range of seating styles from classroom (25 people) and standing (70 people).
