The ‘chef’s in residence’ line-up for Royal Ascot 2020 has been announced, including corporate hospitality packages. The impressive brigade of chefs features Raymond Blanc OBE, Simon Rogan, Ollie Dabbous and Brett Graham in a food programme worthy of the historic event.
With nine Michelin stars collectively held by the chefs, who will be taking over the kitchens of the racecourse’s various different restaurants, Royal Ascot boasts one of the finest food line ups of any British sporting event.
With a mixture of returning chefs who’ve had a residence at Ascot before, alongside some chefs new to this year’s event, the food offering over the five days looks set to be sublime.
Legendary chef Raymond Blanc headlines the impressive list of names. He will be returning for the fifth year to oversee the kitchen at the Royal Enclosure’s esteemed Panoramic Restaurant and is set to serve a refined menu of dishes which wouldn’t look out of place at his two-Michelin starred restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
L’Enclume’s Simon Rogan will, for a third year, be hosting his restaurant in the Royal Enclosure Gardens while also curating the menu at the nearby Green Yard restaurant. Ollie Dabbous, head chef of the incredibly fashionable HIDE, will also be returning for a second year to launch a brand new Royal Enclosure restaurant called Holyrood House.
This year marks the first appearance for one of the chefs in residence; Brett Graham, two-Michelin starred head chef of The Ledbury, will take over from Phil Howard, who he worked under for a few years at The Square, as head chef of ON5.
Royal Ascot 2020 runs from Tuesday 16 June to Saturday 20 June inclusive.
