Don’t be deterred by the deceptively unassuming entrance. This Grade II-listed building is one of the most prestigious and talked-about venues in Sheffield. The 500-capacity home of the Hallamshire
Company of Cutlers (the only livery hall outside London) celebrates the distinguished face of Sheffield’s steel-making past throughout a series of imposing hallways and grand ballrooms. With a wide
sweeping main staircase, marble busts, enormous chandeliers and beautiful wood panelling, its richly decorated rooms create an impressive sense of occasion. The Main Hall is the most atmospheric
space, with room for up to 320 guests for dinner, while the Drawing Room, Goodwin Room and Osborn Room can accommodate 150, 50 and 20 delegates for meetings. Located in the centre of the city
opposite the cathedral, the hall is easily accessible from the M1. Kudos is a listed caterer at this venue.
As well as hosting the 378th prestigious annual Feast Sheffield, the Kudos venue’s head chef, Jamie Whiteley, has received a World Master Chefs Society medal. The event celebrates the skills and
promise of industry professionals and was attended by Deputy PM Nick Clegg.
