Over the years, this English Heritage-listed ballroom has played host to society weddings, state banquets and magnificent balls. The Ballroom’s original period features, combined with the latest technology, make it an ideal setting for everything from a stylish dance to a cutting-edge conference.

Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Brook Street create an elegant backdrop for board meetings and private dinners for up to 16 guests.
Wonderfully light and well-proportioned, this graceful room features fine open fireplaces, as well as the imposing portrait of the Lady in Blue. The Drawing Room’s 18th-century elegance combines with all the modern technology necessary to make business presentations and meetings a success.
With original features such as art deco ironwork tassels by Basil Ionides and winged Renaissance-style cherubs over the doors, the French Salon is an elegant and atmospheric room in which to hold a business or social event. It also features a striking mural of a dancing couple, uncovered when the room was last refurbished. The French Salon can be taken in conjunction with the connecting Drawing Room, to accommodate a greater number of guests.
The St James Room can be used on its own for lunch or dinner for up to 20 guests, or connecting with the Clarence Room for larger weddings, lunches, cocktail events or dinners.
The most spacious of the seven Mezzanine Events Rooms, the Clarence Room can be used for weddings, cocktail parties and meetings. There is space for receptions for up to 100 guests or dinner for up to 85, when connected to the St James Room.
