Brooklands became the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit when it opened in 1907. As the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, the museum houses exhibits from giant racing cars to a WWII Wellington bomber. For events, the Edwardian Clubhouse offers seven art deco rooms, including a smart boardroom and the grand Napier Room. Those wanting to use the artefacts as a backdrop to dinners should pick the atmospheric Vickers Suite, which is next to the UK’s only publicly displayed Concorde and occupies a space that was once a supersonic wind tunnel. Driving experiences and tours can be bolted onto events.
