Situated in a beautiful Grade II-listed building, The Cut and Craft is a magical venue to host a Christmas party. Originally designed by the famous Mancunian architect, Edward Walters, the nineteenth-century Italian palazzo-style architecture is the last of its kind in the city. With soaring high ceilings, sleek furnishings and magnificent chandeliers, The Cut and Craft promises glitz and glamour.
Depending on the size of your party, you might wish to host an intimate dinner in the restaurant’s private dining suite. Located in a former bank vault, The Edward Walters Suite is an underground dining space featuring marble flooring, a candlelit table and elegant wine racks. If you want to extend the Christmas cheer a little further, they offer full venue hire complete with a bespoke drink and canapé reception. With a capacity of two hundred, the vast space can be tailored to suit your needs, with the help of a guest experience manager.
With a Christmas menu that centres on quality produce, The Cut and Craft ensures nobody goes home disappointed. For starters, there’s french onion soup, pork belly with black pudding or salmon beetroot gravlax. For mains, choose between sage and onion-stuffed turkey wrapped in prosciutto with all the trimmings, beef wellington wrapped in parma ham and pastry or Scottish salmon fillet in a lobster bisque. For vegans or vegetarians, there’s a classic nut roast and of course, everything comes with golden roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and sprouts. Dessert is a tempting selection of spiced apple crumble, crème brûlée, biscotti cheesecake or, for those who had one too many roast potatoes, you can opt for a light sorbet or ice cream! It wouldn’t be Christmas without a glass of fizz and luckily The Cut and Craft have an extensive Champagne and wine list to choose from.
