Inside, Silo’s industrial-chic interiors features exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors, and an open kitchen, creating a warm yet contemporary atmosphere perfect for Christmas party hire. With a late licence, the party can continue into the night. The venue offers exclusive hire for up to 69 guests seated, including 45 at dining tables, 12 at the counter, and 12 in the private dining room. The private dining room is also available for up to 14 guests from 6pm Wednesday to Saturday, perfect for more intimate festive gatherings.
Silo’s tasting menu, described as an expression of natural farming and closed-loop cooking, is the highlight of the experience. It's nine courses long, and while festive menus will reflect winter produce, cooking here has previously offered the likes of koji quaver with treacle and goat’s cheese; the signature siloaf with cultured butter and smoked salt; and grilled Tropea onion with herb emulsion and agretti. Elsewhere, there's merit mushroom koji porridge with electric dairy or Fosse Meadow chicken with buttermilk and sea veggies, followed by beetroot amazake with basil and strawberry, and the signature closed-loop ice cream sandwich. Optional drinks pairing is also available, along with a selection of biodynamic wines and housemade soft drinks.
