Apton Hall

Apton Hall is a beautiful, Grade II Listed historic building turned events venue, sitting in Rochford, Essex. The experienced team know everything there is about running brilliant events, whether that be weddings, birthdays and for the festive period, Christmas parties! Perfect if you're organising a special shindig for the whole company, Apton Hall offers the space to enjoy drinks, a sit-down meal and a disco later on, spaced across its multi-venue site.

Let's start with the Stables and Courtyard; as the name suggests this space is gorgeously rustic featuring exposed brick walls, authentic wooden beams overhead, and wrought iron chandeliers. In the winter months, the underfloor heating ensures it's really cosy, while the floor-to-ceiling windows still provide stunning views out to the surrounding countryside. Here, you can host 115 people, ideally for a drinks reception. Another option for greeting your guests, is to direct them to the Snug Bar.

You'll find an ornate fireplace and log burner, with comfortable seating and lots of snuggly touches. This is a great spot socialising, enjoying some canapes and propping up the bar. For a sit-down meal, the New Barn has plenty of space for a selection of table formats, and if you're struggling with numbers, an extension is available which can increase the capacity to 200 people. You're welcome to bring your own decorations and give the place a festive spruce! All food is catered for in house, led by Head Chef Craig Tomlin. You can speak to the team about the mix of options available and curate your own menu for your colleagues to enjoy.

Finally, it wouldn't be a Christmas party without some dancing, and the farm's original cowshed is now a fully-converted space for shaking a tail feather. Make the space your own and book a DJ, live music or entertainment - perhaps carols singers might bring the festive mood?
