dining room with pretty hanging lamps and dark wood surfaces, it offers a lengthy but accessible menu of salads, grilled BBQ dishes, hotpots and noodles: look for pa jeon (savoury pancakes),
marinated beef with glass noodles and broth or bossam (slow-cooked pork belly marinated in miso sauce, wrapped in blanched Chinese leaves and served with sweetened radish kimchi and shrimp sauce).
Service is full of smiles, and the drinks list runs from cold plum tea and some potable wines by the glass to Hite beer, bek se ju (fermented rice liquor laced with herbs) and energising bokbunja
(an indigenous sweet raspberry wine).
