Bluebird is really an establishment. A great destination because of the beautiful interior and the people to match it. Good mix of 20s/30s people, all dressed up.

It feels glamourous, fun and upbeat, the perfect start to a night out. Service is great, drinks are perfect.

I particularly like lunch outside during Wimbledon season- something about it can't be matched!

A complete destination & falls under my “Best in Chelsea” category.

Wild Honey is one of those restaurants you'll love going to, rave about in the middle of your meal, leave thinking why hadn't we gone there sooner- and then forget!

The food is superb, ambiance is noisy but polished. But it wasn't enough to make me want to go back, like I would for the Wolseley or Sketch. Something is too wooden about the interior for it to feel fresh & energetic.

A great food pick, but maybe not your all time favourite.

Crowd was 30s-50s, not really a personality in sight, all rather conservative.

A great choice for lunch or dinner. The balance between food & ambiance is spot on. Good mix of older and younger crowd. Fashionable, stylish crowd.

You can't beat Manicomio for location and food. Tucked away in Duke of York Square in Chelsea, you really feel like you've stumbled upon a little hideaway.

Afterwards, nip over to Patisserie Valerie for take away pastries & you're set!

A good choice for dinner, lovely food, really authentic. I think if you are a foodie, then this is your place, as the chef does Italian very well.

Location is right behind Oxford street, so very central.

Ambiance, I wasn't convinced. I'm more of a Chelsea type, but it seemed a bit flat to me.

Food was the absolute highlight, so go for that. Go elsewhere for a scene.

The Botanist is a charming place- dinner is a bit sedate, but lovely bar. I liked how the crowds are boisterous & dress to impress. A scene of Chelsea girls, boys & wannabes, a great destination for summer drinks.

I've also had tea there & it was a good choice. I liked how it was a bit eccentric, yet traditional. Somehow I always feel like I've had a good night after visiting there.

Automat takes American brasserie to a nice upscale level. Decor is sleek and looks the part.

Food is reliable & American styled portions, so you won't walk away hungry or wanting for dessert.

Great choice for lunches in Mayfair, team lunches. I wouldn't necessarily go for an evening dinner, but a great lunch time choice in a nice location.

This cafe is a little gem in Fulham. Why drive hours to some random National Trust location, when you have Fulham palace so close by. Granted there never seems to be a whole lot going on in the palace itself, but that is fine by us, as it is relatively quiet.

The cafe has a nice selection of cakes & other tea time fare, as well as a lunch menu & breakfast menu. I've had all three & always happy with the experience.

Summer time is great for the cafe- they've recently introduced barbecue food & have more chairs out on the grassy part.

A great, family friendly destination. Bring the kids & have a playdate outdoors. The grassy area in front of the cafe is perfect for picnics & meeting up with friends.

I suppose I had high expectations about River Cafe, but still, I would have thought something would shine through there!

The crowd was a bit boring, noisy, no music, yet not that energetic, a bizarre combination. The location & room are great, but it was not charming in the least.

The food was good, granted, but not the “wow” factor I was hoping for. The best part was honestly the chocolate dessert I had.

Maybe River Cafe has run its course for dinner & now is better as a lunch time destination- terrace is always brimming in the summer time.

Sketch Gallery is a great restaurant night out- a desination in itself!

The food matches the interior, innovative & fresh. I can't think of another restaurant that is consistently a good time as the Gallery.

Love the crowd that come there, dressed smartly, fashion sets, you can't overdo it at a place like this.

A must for Londoners & out-of-towners- good for foodies too.

Nothing says summer in the City like Coq d'argent. Something about being on the rooftop brings instant glamour to a post-work drinks. Good looking City Boys and Girls, sprinkling of media types, makes for a great crowd.

Excellent standby choice, great atmosphere, excellent food. Destination in itself!

Falls under “best alfresco drinks” for me.

Been here a couple of times now & the service is consistently slow, but it doesn't detract from a well-located restaurant in Selfridges.

Family friendly and ladies-who-lunch friendly, you'll find a lot of tourists in the mix.

It is good for a break during shopping, but I wouldn't make it a destination. A relaxing in-store option.

Fifth Floor is bright, airy, buzzy and serves good food. I've been for lunches & each times it is utterly reliable to be a great lunch out. Perfect for a quick lunch during the week, it offers a great selection of classics.

Love the refurb- gorgeous, feels like a central eatery, brasserie/NYC feel, but with a London flair.

Excellent choice for shoppers needing a recharge.

I've gone for the pret-a-portea & it was nice, if a bit silly. I didn't really need to see the original dress that inspired the cookie, that seems touristy to me, but aside from that, we had a nice time.

Perfect for mothers & daughters, girlfiends catching up. Even saw a business lunch or two. Ok mix of people, not as old of a crowd as I saw at the Ritz and a lot more fashionable. Whereas the Ritz is formal without personality, I found the Berkeley lived up to my expectations of what a lovely tea afternoon should be.

The Orangery is one of my favourite places for tea in summertime. Such a lovely ambiance! I don't think anybody really goes for the food, but more the setting. Food, though is fine, with a selection of cakes, scones & other tea-time choices, as well as lunch food.

With Kensington Palace a stone's throw away, you're well away from the bustle of London. I like the whiteness of the interior & how family friendly it is.

You'll find many families gathering here – with buggies lined up out front sometimes. Doesn't detract from the experience, a lovely time & a good choice for the weekend.

Sketch Parlour is one of those great little secrets for tea-time! The ambiance is eclectic, charming and lends itself to longer- than anticipated stays!

Nothing beats nipping into the Parlour for tea & scones after a hard afternoon's shopping. Media types, fashion, pr people all congregate here. Stylish & fun, you can't go wrong here.
