You could organise a secret santa? Or a stealing santa (where everyone has to buy a gift, but they don't know who it's for, say £10. Each person then draws a number out of a hat, which determines the order in which they can pick a gift from the central pile. The first person picks a gift and opens it. The second person can decide whether to steal the first person's gift or open a new gift from the pile (they must make this decision before opening the new gift). If they do steal the unopened gift is given to the person that's just had their gift stolen. And so on. Obviously the further you go on the more fun it gets as you can chose to steal anybody else's gift.
Or you could play the After Eight game (unless it's a super formal restaurant!). Place an After Eight mint on each person's forehead. They must get it into their mouth without using their hands – basically by scrunching and twisting their face. More
