The Cinnamon Club (bar) (The Old Westminster Library, 30-32 Great Smith Street, London, SW1P 3BU)

I write for a blog on Food and Health and enjoyed the pleasure of dining at The Cinnamon Club for an article. I have not yet tried the bar but given the quality of the food and wine I sampled on my visit I can not wait to return and spend an evening there. Given the truly incredible dining experience they provide as one of the best takes on Indian Cuisine in London, the bar could only be amazing. Well I would hope so- my expectations are now high. You can visit Foodhealthblog.com to see my full review of the restaurant side including a calorie count of my meal. Or my post on the restaurant section of Square Meal.
A Crab salad starter with cubes of the most perfect cured salmon was a real winner at dinner.

The Ebury (11 Pimlico Road, London, SW1W 8NA)

I write for a food and health blog and discovered The Ebury whilst visiting for a review of their new “Healthy Menu”.

It's really a great idea and I highly commend Head Chef Dominic Goltinger for creating this alternative to the a la carte. Calorie counts sit next to each well described menu item. The best surprise was that portion size did not disappoint as might be the preconception.

If you are on a diet and would like a varied and educative menu to help you stay on track this is a great place to come.

Our favourite dish of the day was Pumpkin curry served with fragrant coconut rice- just 210 kcals and very filling. A starter, main and dessert can be enjoyed for an incredibly guilt-free 400 calories or less.

If you'd like to see what else we ate and the calorie count of our meal you can see my article on foodhealthblog.com

El Faro (3 Turnberry Quay, London, E14 9RD)

I write for a blog on Food and Health and enjoyed the pleasure of dining at El Faro for an article. The location doesn't hold much promise but the meal exceeded any low expectations immediately.
The winning dish for me was ‘Grilled Red Tuna’ cooked medium/ rare (just as I ordered and hoped for) with a flavousome stock sauce- 623 calories.

Gilgamesh (Camden Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London, NW1 8AH)

I write for a blog on Food and Health and enjoyed the pleasure of dining at Gilgamesh for an article. The interior is unbeatably stunning and we found it really easy to choose tasty, satisfying lighter menu items such as Salmon Tartare ( £10.10), 46 kcals.
