Public House (54 Islington Park Street, London, N1 1PX) i have visited this place on a number of occasions now, and i can see where the vastly different opinions posted online arise from. Firstly, this place has a strong personality, and as with all strong personalities, some people feel uneasy for a myriad of reasons from the psychological to the practical. Secondly, i have noticed that there are some very busy weekend evenings, where the clientele are clearly out of place, displaced for the reason of a friends birthday or similar. At these instances i would say that Public House has a choice of whether to honour it's identity and integrity or simply go along with it. Perhaps the boys haven't quite figured out what the best approach is here and this leads to criticism. That aside though, the food, drink and service have always been faultless and i will be coming back as long as i live in islington. I suggest you do the same and ignore the boo boys n girls
