Tamarai (167 Drury Lane, London, London, WC2B 5PG) My friend has eaten in this restaurant many times and therefore chose it for his 30th birthday meal. We went on Sat 26th September and the service, under new management, was simply awful. Drinks took forever to arrive, starters were completely mis-timed – one main was brought (no exaggeration) 15 minutes before the rest of the mains. Rude waitress, and I quote – “what do you want me to do about it” A complaint to the manager received no gesture of goodwill nor an acknowledgement that we had received poor service. And this was all at a 7:30 sitting when the restaurant was barely half-full. A real shame because the food was lovely but I will never go back to receive such disgraceful service.
