Tamarai (167 Drury Lane, London, London, WC2B 5PG) Dreadful place! Dark and moody like a teenagers bedroom, and stinking like a Weatherspoons on a Sunday morning (presumably because it also operates as a bar/club too) – the decor could not be more naff! Went for the 3 courses for £15 deal – and they really get their moneys worth for that! Options for starters include nuts and lotus flower crisps, seriously, and when we were finally presented with our mains following a half an hour wait we got what can only be described as the meanest main course portions I have ever seen. The food was OK but not worth the wait AND it was a Wednesday evening so there wasn't an excuse. I don't rate it, and I wouldn't bother again.
