Waterloo Bar & Grill (119 Waterloo Road, London, London, SE1 8UL) Our meal at Waterloo Brasserie was very pleasant, for a decent meal in a very central location it is a solid choice. I had a rather rare-looking medium rare steak, which came with chips which were nice and crispy. The cheeseboard of smelly cheeses had small but potent choices including a decent reblochon. This place is very popular with the pre-theatre crowd attending The Vic which is literally across the road. The bar was also buzzing with the post-work crowd, so the place had a good vibe. However the service was probably the best thing about the meal – our waiter was very attentive and knowledgable without being pushy.
