Inn the Park (St James's Park, London, SW1A 2BJ) The service here was absolutely dreadful. I was told there was no booking, when it was obvious that there was (ie the name I provided was right there on the page). The waiter spoke extremely poor English and was brusque to say the least. We were told that we could have boiled eggs as if we were being done a favour, despite the fact that the menu provides for 'Eggs any way'. We asked for soft boiled eggs, and were given hard boiled eggs. I had to ask for the right cutlery with which to eat my meal, and was then made to wait while the waiter, holding said cutlery, stood chatting to his colleauges. A discretionary 12.5% tip was then added to the bill. An altogether unsatisfactory, overpriced experience. I would not recommend breakfast in this place to anyone.
