Tried out the new cafe, reopened after the recent fire, and the restaurant is now more spacious, light and airy than before. Very clean lines, almost new england look about it. Wanted a light lunch, and I tucked into a Beef carpaccio, and my lunch partner, the roasted ham with chilli jam. Shame you have to pay for bread as an extra, and not even offered, you have to ask for it as an addition. The breads are wonderful though. Came only with olive oil, and no butter. Overall, food was good, but portions small for the price. Service is efficient, but not warm or welcoming.
