Fifteen (15 Westland Place, London, N1 7LP) With the Oliver connection I was expecting inspirational but got average. We booked in the trattoria so cannot comment on the restuarant. The service was good with friendly staff, and the menu sounded good. It was a pity that the food didn't live up to the promise. The steak was offered as medium rare but looked more rare than medium, was stone cold and had a very strange stringy texture. Quite unlike any steak I have had before and I have had a few, from Kobi in Hong Kong to all sorts in upmarket reatuarants from New York to Australia. The same was repeated throughout the dishes served at our table. My recommendation is try it once and if you don't like it go to your local Italian (with a real Italian chef). It will be cheap and probably better.
