Novikov (50 Berkeley Street, London, W1J 8HA)

Nice new addition to the ‘Green Park Area’! Lounge bar downstaris is a great place for a glass of wine, the interior is cool yet cozy. I have no idea why they have the music on so loud though – hard to talk after 8pm when they crank it on like in a night club. Are they trying to attract (deaf) 25 year olds??

Food in Asian part is lovely, yet pricy. Service good.

Thread “What happened with gilmore's?” (in Recommend me a restaurant or a bar)

Gilmore's on Park Walk closed down this week, why??
2 days ago the note on the door said “close for urgent reburbishment” but yesterday that was change to “Repossesion notice by owner of lease”
Why would this be? Gilmore's was such a popular place and good addition to the neighbourhood! ;(
