Roast (Floral Hall, Stoney Street, London, SE1 1TL) I went to Roast for breakfast and have heard that it may be better at other times of day. However, a watery poached egg is unforgiveable in a place that charges this much. If it had been served with a smile, I might have forgiven it a little more readily. The rest of the food was fine, but unexceptional and the coffee was OK. The location is, however, fantastic, so perhaps they assume that will distract people from the mediocrity of the restaurant.
