Grace (42-44 Great Windmill Street, London, W1D 7NB) Visited Grace last weekend for a birthday party. Very disappointed with the service. Despite prebooking an area to accomodate 50 people at considerable cost to myself, I was given an area by the entrace to the Milk bar downstairs which barely accomodated 10 people. In addition, management was unhelpful and unwilling to honour the booking, claiming they knew about the booking but there was little they could now. Matters proceeded to get worse as the evening wore on, with my tab being charged with over £100 worth of drinks I had not ordered. Food and drink was average, and I only consider it being good value for money as I had 50% off vouchers (which again there was an issue over, with staff quibbling over what they could be used for). Never in one night out have I had to deal with the venues managementso much. Overall, Grace has a nice interior and atmosphere, but staff are too incompetent and unhelpful to make this bar worth visiting again.
