The Garrison (99-101 Bermondsey Street, London, SE1 3XB) Went to the Garrison for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The service was quick but also impatient at times. When we had finished our food, we ordered a second bottle of wine only to be told 10 minutes later that our table was reserved and we had to clear our tab and move straight away as the other people were here. We’d had no prior warning that the table was even booked. We then asked to be re-seated elsewhere until we were finished, to which we were told to join someone else’s table, which we had no problem doing but it was said in an obtuse manner. The manager then proceeded to treat us like a huge inconvenience, constantly glaring over and giving the impression that he felt we had over stayed our welcome. This is after being there for 2 hours and spending about £90 for two people. A real shame the service was so poor as the food was delicious and wine selection extensive. However the bad customer service would put us off returning.
