L'Anima (1 Snowden Street, London, London, EC2A 2DQ)

This must be the best Italian restaurant in London at the moment (sorry Mr Locatelli), tucked away behind Liverpool Street station, it's well worth the trip from the West End. The menu contains a number of unusual dishes and the cooking is terrific. Ocaisionally the boorish behaviour of the local ‘City boys’ pervades the otherwise calm atmosphere.
