Rules (35 Maiden Lane, London, WC2E 7LB) I went to Rules for the name, Oldest Restaurant in London, as I love London, I really wanted to try a little visit Only to be really dispointed it was dark I didnt feel very welcome, I was crushed in the corner with my 6'4 boyfriend! the food was average, and EXPENSIVE I am sorry to say I wouldnt rush back

Roast (Floral Hall, Stoney Street, London, London, SE1 1TL) I have visted Roast on severaly occassion, when it first opened, for of course Sunday Lunch, well thats why its call Roast right?! Then for quick lunches, drinks and dinner There is a lift up to the restaurant, from brough market into the restaurant only then to be greeted but 3 receptionists The setting is one of kind, over brough market, with glass from floor to ceiling and a dome shaped glass roof, its really light and airy, also it has a great a bar area with a piano who play jazz So now I have built up the setting I was really diapointed to say that the food is average, and £30 per head is quiet a bit with no veg, that I fnd very cheeky, its great for a meeting place but I would rush to order

Roka (37 Charlotte Street, London, London, W1T 1RR) I went to Roka with another couple, we sat downstairs which is much nicer and warming The restaurant was packed, we had sofa for chairs which is great if you are having a drink, but not so comfy for dinner, we all choose the taster menu, the waitress was so helpful and the service was impeccable, a really good try and also for people who havent tried sushi before as there is lots of guidance!

Crazy Bear (26-28 Whitfield Street, London, W1T 2RG) I went to Crazy Bear with my husband and friends, unfortuanately as we booked at late notice they only had a table early, so there was no atmosphere! On the other hand, the food was lovely and did make up the quietness in the restaurant!

I went with my husband to the bustling Borough Market last saturday, we stopped and had a late lunch at Black and Blue, it was busy as usual, with charactors from all walks of life. We shared the Cote de Boeuf which was mouth watering delicious, which is great value for 2, and a lovely bottle of red! A really great way to spend a relaxing afternoon, to catch up, I would reccommend it to all my friends… You should try it, you wont be disapointed!!!
