Personal description

2 parts amateur foodie, 1 part oenophile with a dash of style for good measure

Eating out habits

It used to be around 5-6 times a month when I was being courted. Now I'm married and have a sprog, so it swings from anywhere between 0-5 times.

Favourite restaurants

London: Locanda Locatelli, The Square, Cecconi's, Nobu, Hakkasan and now Hutong.

Hong Kong: Zuma

Bombay: Olive and Shiv Sagar

Last supper

Starting off with a glass or two of Laurent Perrier Rose champagne. A banquet full of; dhal makhni, potato in any form, thai curry, poached eggs and hollandaise, and a generous slice of lemon tart. All washed down with a crisp Gruner Veltliner. Sounds sickly I know!

My baby primarily and when I get time; Eating out, Cooking, Baking, Cocktail Bars, Art and culture (Rothko, Anish Kapoor, Dali), Music, Filling up my jewellery box…and bags!

Favourite book and film

Favourite book is a tough one, it's between Vikram Seth's ‘A suitable boy’, Amitav Ghosh's ‘Glass Palace’ and Gregory David Roberts ‘Shantaram’ – They were all magnificent in their own ways.

Dream dinner companion

A strange mix but it might just work: Holly Golightly, Betty Boop, and Queen Rania of Jordan, to provide a good measure of style and etiquette to the table. George Clooney purely to ogle at. Then just for laughs I'd add Jack Dee, Piers Morgan, Matthew Freud and Boris Johnson – we'd debate on journalism, PR and all sorts.

Favourite hotels in the UK and abroad

Bovey Castle (Somerset), Shangri La (Muscat,Oman), Umaid Bhawan Palace (India), Huvafen Fushi (Maldives)

Favourite holiday destinations

Adventures around England, the Middle East, India.
