I went in on wednesday at 12 noon, expecting no problem to get a table for lunch.
My judgement was correct with only 2 tables in the restaurant and 1 couple in the bar area.
However, the receptionist looked me up and down and told me they were fully booked but i could have the lunch in the bar area if i wanted and gave me the lunch menu.
So i settled in the bar area and when ordering my starter, main course and dessert, i was told that the lunch menu was not available to the bar area but could have a snack purchased from the deli next door.
In these difficult financial times, i find it difficult to understand not wanting to accomodate customers when the place is almost empty.
