I couldn't fault this place and it tops all the other fake ice cream places in our city that pretend to be real Italian Gelato. What's more you can have dinner at the delicious Bocca di Lopo before which is just across the road. I found out about this place from a delightful website called www.ninaicecream.com which is a blogger going around all the ice cream parlours and she rated this one as the best in London. I had an affrogato with hazelnut ice cream at Gelupo, it was yummy!

I went to Dri Dri last weekend and it was a breath of fresh air to finally find an ice cream place with a pistachio flavour that was not florescent green. Normally that colour blinds me before I walk through the door and I have to leave immediately. Tough for someone who's favourite flavour is pistachio. Although, this time I was greeted by a sea of beautiful pastel colours and a pistachio so creamy, browny and greeny that I just could not resist. It tasted almost as good as my mother's famous homemade one and that is definitely saying something. Go there, there are other flavours for the less obsessed nut fans like myself. I actually found out about it on this blog that I follow and it rated it as one of the favourite ice cream parlours in London. Check it out! It's quite amusing and they always have great pictures of food.www.ninaicecream.com
I loved my trip to Bocca di Lupo, the food was just as I had expected, perfect Italian cuisine. I enjoyed it so much that I even went to it's little ice cream place just opposite. It's called Gelupo and does amazing, fresh without any rubbish in it gelato. The quality was incredible and I found out about it on this dessert blog, check it out, it also good for other recommendations around the city.www.ninaicecream.com
