Myung Ga (1 Kingly Street, London, W1B 5PE)

I love Myung Ga. This was the place that I really discovered Korean Food.

The best thing that you have to try is the Bulgogi Beef, marinated slices of beef cooked on the BBQ on your table. you wrap the beef in a lettuce leaf with some miso paste. A-mazing.
Also the spicy beef soup (hot!), kimchi pickles and the spinach and beansprout namul. All delicious.
For healthy types its great because Korean food is actually very lean indeed. It's not a trendy restaurant, but it is nice inside with attractive features and low lighting. I always enjoy it immensely and the food is fab.

Addie's Thai Café (121 Earl's Court Road, London, SW5 9RL)

This place is great. It's a local Thai restaurant that is surprisingly ‘cool’ inside (think black painted tables, dark red walls etc). What I was even more suprised by was how great the food is with a good and varied menu of favourite dishes and plenty of authentic dishes to try. Every time I go there I have good and very gracious service, really delicious, authentic Thai food and a very reasonable bill at the end of it. It's very cheap for what you get. Brilliant hidden gem.

Nozomi (14-15 Beauchamp Place, London, SW3 1NQ)

Absolutely terrible. You will come away wishing you hadn't bothered ruining your evening…and paying for it!!
Also, the guy on the front desk is so odeous and rude it is mesmerising that he has a job there. or anywhere.
