Benihana at Grange Hotel St Paul (Grange Hotel St Paul, 10 Goldman Street, London, EC4V 5AJ)

A great restaurant to take people and entertain them. Joined to a fabulous hotel bar and lobby at the Grange – In an area with a lot of competition with One exchange housing Jamie Oliver's and soon to com Gordon Ramsay restaurants also ssome established restaurants like Cafe rouge on the corner and a great little Thai restaurant down the road above the rising sun pub which suits the budget traveller better

City Thai House (61 Carter Lane, London, EC4V 5DY)

The Thai House Restaurant above the Rising Sun Pub in Carter Lane is one of London's best kept secrets.
This unpretentious restaurant offers freshly cooked Thai food that is a taste sensation. I had the Thom Ka Gai soup as a starter which was excellent. I followed this with Gaeng Deng (Chicken in red curry) .
The whole meal was less than ten pounds excluding wine . The service was friendly knowledgeable and informative. I really struggle to find a criticism of this little gem.
