A cute local neighbourhood pub where staff interact with you and treat you like a friend, rather than a paying customer. A great place for a Sunday lunch though i've had better roast beef elsewhere – the meat was slightly chewy and the horseradish lacked a punch!Very relaxed and friendly pub. Go check it out!

I've been here a handful of times and in the last few years and the atmosphere never disappoints. The crowd is mid 20s and the pub is lively with live music or a good playlist! It's a great place to go out on a Saturday night. The only thing they could improve on is the menu – some nights they limit it to items from the “small dishes” menu. I still haven't figured out when/why…
Tapas-style dishes are perfect as there are so many options on the menu that it's difficult to pick just one dish! Taqueria is a cute neighbourhood restaurant that's casual and fun.
This place is amazing! I don't even know where to start! A group of 4 friends and I went for lunch and were highly impressed by everything – the service, the food, the lot! We all ordered off the a la carte menu. For starters I had the Hand Picked Crab with Wakame Oil, Thinly Sliced Courgette and Frozen Parmesan which was a burst of flavours! My choice of main was Loin of Roe Deer with Beetroot, Blackcurrants and Bone Marrow which I couldn't fault! Dessert of Caramelised Banana Galette with Salted Caramel, Passion Fruit and Peanut Oil Parfait was to die for!!Four of us had ordered dessert and the waiters brought our 5th friend a dessert as he didn't want her to feel left out… it's the small touches like this that make a good restaurant great! We finished with a cheese board of the most interesting and different cheeses i've had in a long time. This place is great! I can't wait to visit again very soon!

The Churchill Arms is a little old man pub whose exterior is covered in flowers and flowerpots. It's always packed with a range of different people, making for a good night out. At the back of the pub is a thai restaurant that has a short, simple menu of tasty food. Starters range from 2-5pounds and mains aren't much more than that. Portions are massive and the food comes out promptly leaving more time to drink and socialise.Remember you don't have to be seated in the restaurant section to order food – you can sit in the pub and go up to the thai counter to order!Best time to go is on week nights when the pub isn't too busy!

Being a Michelin star restaurant, I was expecting to be wowed by the Harwood Arms and left thinking i'd had a standard pub roast… the rib of beef was slightly disappointing: the meat was tough, the smoked bone marrow had no flavour as it was deep fried and it came with standard dinner knives and not steak knives making it difficult to carve the meat from the bone. However the thing that makes this place special is the fantastic service, knowledgeable staff and the presentation of the food. I probably wouldn't go again but the long Sunday lunch we had was enjoyable enough.

Some friends and I decided to have a few pre-dinner drinks and ended up missing our dinner reservation, as we were having such a great time at JuJu. The music, drinks and crowd make this place a great night out. Make sure you order the Chelsea Iced Tea which the bar staff made to perfection. This is a great little addition to King's Road!

Ribs, crabs, lobster, prawns – this place has it all in a fun unpretentious environment! And to tope it off, the margaritas are addictively tasty! A great place to catch up with a bunch of friends!
This is a cute little bar tucked away in a quiet little street in Soho. The menu of Mexican inspired food is small yet appealing as is the drinks menu. This bar has an East London alternative feel about it. It's laid back, it's clientele come from the local film & tv offices in the area and it's never too crowded. It shut recently – possibly for refurbishments, so fingers crossed it opens with the same relaxed feel about it.
Having been going to the Shoreditch branch for years, I was pleased to hear that a branch had opened closer to home. Cay Tre has Vietnamese cooking down pat. From the starters (piggy aubergine is a must-try and the summer rolls are perfection) to the range of pho's and noodle dishes (my favourites being the pho & the saigon satay venison pho) you'll want to visit this place again and again. The service is quick and efficient, the food is fresh and light (yet filling). Cay Tre leaves you with a full tummy and a big fat smile on your face!
The touchscreen ordering service is a bit of a novelty which makes your first visit to Inamo fun and interesting. I think it's a bit of a fad though and when it comes to the food, it's fairly standard Westernised Japanese cuisine. Slightly over-priced, but i'd recommend going once – just for the fun of it!
This place is fun! Some friends and I went for a few drinks and ended up drinking and dancing the night away. The bar downstairs resembles the inside of a cruise ship and is swanky in a chilled laid back way. Drinks are reasonably priced, nibbles are tasty and it feels like you're a world away from Soho!
Average food, average service, average atmosphere. Don't know how it's been awarded a Michelin star…my local Indian restaurant has better quality food than Tamarind…
Pros:1. Basic menu (no choice except for dessert)2. Delicious simple food3. Love the 2nd serving!4. Great wine menu – even the house wine!5. Lively atmosphereCons:1. Can't book, so you end up waiting in a queue outside for over 30mins every time 2. The wait staff often bring your mains before you've even finished your starters!

Quirky little bar in a quiet location hidden behind the hustle & bustle of Oxford St with an imaginative cocktail menu. I would recommend Purl for a few pre-dinner drinks or as a date location. Due to the high price of drinks (well worth it) it's not somewhere i'd go for a night of drinks.
