Momo (25 Heddon Street, London, W1B 4BH) charming place but inexusably expensive for frankly very basic moroccan food that you could make just as well at home with a Claudia Roden cookbook. For this kind of money is it really acceptable that every piece of crockery we ate off be THAT chipped? And is it ok to be THAT close to other punters such that you are literally shoulder to shoulder. Not really my idea of a top end restaurant, despite the high price tag and pleasant service. Dont get me wrong, the food is good, just terribly terribly overpriced. Goto Sidi Maarouf on Edgware Road instead and save yourself some money. Sidi's service borders on terrible but the place is decorative, the food is good and half the price of Momos and they have unchipped crockery at least!
