Reply to “Xmas party deals on ebay?” (in Venues & Events talk )

In some ways I kind of like this idea as it is quirky, new, inexpensive and puts a smile on my face. A part of me thinks wow this could be the next big thing however my nagging doubts are;

• is it a bit tragic, inappropriate and desperate
• are our target audience EVER in a million years going to think “oh I know, lets book our Xmas party on Ebay” – perhaps they might in time to come once word had spread but this would take a while.
• is it de-valuing your product?
• maybe worth a trial if just for fun?!
