Al Borgo Ristorante (3 Church Road, London, London, TW11 8PF) A truly local restaurant with it's own quirks and charms, whilst the restaurant has not been super busy on either of our trips the enjoyment of the meal has not been diminished. The food variety and quality is superb and the wine selection and recommendation of the highest of quality. With so many restaurants falling back on a formulaic approach to their offering Al Borgo knows what it is and is happy in it's own skin…something that should be applauded especially given the current economic climate where it would be all to easy to succumb to a quick fix high street approach. This is a truly local restaurant and deserves to flourish, the hosts are welcoming and honest in their approach, and the value for money is excellent given the quality of both the food and beverages on offer. We will be back again, both for a more ‘grown up’ meal as a couple, as well as a family with our 2 children (5 & 3). Highly recommended on a number of levels.
