The Builders Arms (13 Britten Street, London, SW3 3TY)

We were served by a friendly and efficient waitress in a pleasant atmosphere. Sadly, the food was not good. I've had better food in a greasy spoon. The portions were very small and the prices very large. Go for a drink but dine at your peril.

Lansdowne (90 Gloucester Avenue, London, London, NW1 8HX)

Once upon a time the Lansdowne was a reliable gastropub. No more. I've visited it twice in the last 3 months with several guests and each meal was a disaster. The food was terrible and took ages to reach the table. Each main dish had the texture of over cooked mush and shared the same “whatisit” over spiced flavour. Have the management and chef changed or just lost interest? I won't be back.
