There is an art to asian cooking – the art at this restaurant is to have calculated to the last grain of rice how little you can give a customer on a plate – this art will quite frankly leave you peckish. Surroundings are nice enough – gentrified ikea meets cool colonial interiors. But a patterned cup and a wicker chair does not a hearty meal make. The crowd is East End-charity-worker or local academic in the know. Service is fine. Food is fine as well (from the little that we had). Suggestion du jour: a pot noodle in your hessian bag wont go a miss for your bus home.
