I think we must have had the same waitress as the other posting. Yes, very rude and totally unsuited to the venue as the other staff seemed much more professional. I took a friend from the States in for brunch. This arrogant, rude waitress didn't stand a chance with her American practice of taking no nonsense from restaurant staff, to the point where she obviously got someone else to look after us mid-meal and we didn't see her again. Apart from that, the brunch/breakfast menu was really good. We had eggs florentine and a Buck's Fizz followed by coffee etc. It was a treat and the perfect way to start a day's shopping in King's Road. We were seated (or rather the rude waitress pointed at us and an empty table) in the area by the long bar, which was fine, but you have to make sure you're not too near the door as there is a stream of traffic in and out. The lovely young male waiter who took our order was very helpful and advised us that he needed to get our order in quick as the breakfast menu was about to finish. The food was delicious and cooked to our specification with no fuss. The prices were just ok for a treat. I think if it had been even a couple of pounds more, it would have been expensive. Would definitely go again. Hopefully the bad waitress will have been fired before we do so!
