There was a wedding there when we dined, so to be fair this is slightly biased. However we were not told that when we called to book. I had the partridge and thought it was over cooked. The wine list was not simple old world but globally overpriced. The waitress seemed stressed, overworked, and plain old unhelpful. When I asked about the wine list, her response was “I don't drink”. The manager seemed to care and I give him credit for trying. But the attitude didn't filter down to the staff. I wouldn't go back and my high hopes were dashed that evening.
