Aurelia (13-14 Cork Street, London, W1S 3NS) went on Friday nite, got the seats upstairs , so cold in there. The menu was lots of Italian influence than anyother countries. Expensive Prosecco by glassses eventhough the cheapest one! not even a champaign. I couldn't remember the price. The starters were good, lovely chix liver parfiat, parma ham quality wasn't that impressed. the burrata was out of the world, the best. But went downhill when the crab pasta arrived, store bought crab meat taste. I bet they forgot to put the chiili in as well as i couldn't taste of see any hint of the heat at all. Lamb and veal was good but not exceptional as i expected. The service was good. The manager kept checking on us during the times. Before we left , we took a look at the dinning room downstairs and felt gutted that we were left to have a meal in cold all the time upstairs. Down there was open kitchen , warm and looked so lovely. Don't understand why they didn't seat us there as it was half empty. The bill was expensive as i expected but the experience was below par.
