Bistrot Retro (run by the former Maitre d' at the lamented Monsieur Max) and offering fine food, a really welcoming staff and fantastic value for money. And a lovely space…
And about 100 yards away, Shambles – really imaginative cooking (anywhere that features salsify on the menu wins a vote from me), again lovely people and, if the weather's good, a delightful sun trap of a garden… More
