Consistently good and a great venue for family occaisions. You know you are in safe pair of hands when you go to Galvins bistrot. Menu is reasonabily classic and service is normally quite good but its the food you go for and it doesn't fail to please. I've been to its sister restaurant, Windows only once before and was less impressed! More expensive and too formal for me but I guest thats Park Lane for you, view of Hyde Park may be worth a visit if you are new to London! Definitely would recommend the bistrot.
