Paradise by way of Kensal Green (19 Kilburn Lane, London, London, W10 4AE)

Of all the restaurants I have been recently –this is my favorite. I have been on weekends evening, mid-week and for brunch and every time I see a new menu full of exciting thing I can’t wait to try.
Nice relaxed atmosphere and loads of wine by the glass (I always want red, he always want’s white). Last time we popped in for dinner we ended up dancing until the early hours in the club upstairs

We had crab cocktail to start followed by sea bass, the boy had scallops followed by the lamb. Sadly not enough room for a actual pudding so we shared a delicious sticky toffee pudding

I love this place. will be back very soon indeed

The Blues Kitchen (111-113 Camden High Street, London, London, NW1 7JN)

I have to say, when my friend said we were going to the Blues Kitchen, I was not that excited. I had been before when it opened and it was not all I had hoped for.

But what a difference! The food is amazing!

We stared with some perfectly made killer cocktail. Then followed the sharing meat platter. Ribs, prawns, beef – all slow cooked and moist. The BBQ sauce was to die for. Pulled pork sandwich for main – another triumph, especially with a rum and vanilla milkshake.

It is now a great restaurant with a fantastic bar and live music – I can’t wait to go back

Bumpkin (209 Westbourne Park Road, London, London, W11 1EA)

I like Bumpkin. I have visited there several time in the past 12 months the food has always been delicious, homely and exactly what I expect for a ‘country restaurant in the city’.

I love the sharing dishes, the very reasonable wine selection and perfectly cooked veg.

My only critasisum is that at times, it often feels like they are short of staff as they are all rushing around off their feet and not really getting a chance to really engage with the customer. Small potatoes however.

Looking forward to my next visit
