The Perseverance (11 Shroton Street, London, London, NW1 6UG) Had lunch on a week day at the Perseverance in February 2011. Overall an excellent Gastropub which I would strongly recommend if you are or live in the area. I would love to have something similar in Highgate/Muswell Hill. Main attraction is the food which is very good and good value. Nothing overly fancy but what a good pub should offer. I had the monkfish liver which was slightly disappointing (not sure what i was expecting but it lacked taste) but my friend had the terrine which looked amazing. We both had the rabbit as main courses which was amazing. As far as I remember the puddings were great as well. Inside it looks like a traditional pub and it was very quiet (week day). I heard it is much more busy in the evening and on weekends. Service was very good. A pub for the foodie offering good value for money. Would definitely return if I am in the area.
