Pinchito (32 Featherstone Street, London, EC1Y 8QX) We went to Pinchito expecting the usual morbid standard of tapas in London to which there are only one or two exceptions. Now there is clearly another exception to the rule. The food was excellent and the specials menu was different and interesting and also proved to be of high quality, the ox tongue and mango being a highlight. Service was friendly and efficient. The wine list looked impressive and to test it we tried the cheapest wine on the list – if that is good then the rest should be! It was more than acceptable. The bartender responded to our request for information about the wide range of spanish licqeurs on the list by allowing us to sample some of them before buying! We had a great evening at a very reasonable cost. We will undoubtedly return.
