Casa Batavia (135 Kensington Church Street, London, W8 7LP)

slow disorganised service
overambitious cooking but poorly executed
on top of it ran out of puddings…
minimal wine list is ok though
there are so many better italian restaurants in central london

Il Baretto (43 Blandford Street, London, W1U 7HF)

wine list is short and a bit overpriced, but no complaints qualitywise
menu has quite a lot to offer and food quality is good, nice presentation as well
nb:ask for bread if you really need it
no complaints about service, actually maybe even too many waiters around
worth trying, only if you are short enough,as tables are very low

The Cow (89 Westbourne Park Road, London, W2 5QH)

We have been here before and it's not what it used to be.got much worse indeed, i advise to stick to pub downstairs and stay away from upstairs restaurant since oysters are the only good thing. marinated salmon was massively oversalted, lamb was overcooked and hard ,even side orders were not cooked properly, not mentionning pathetic dessert.
wine list is ok though.service is friendly. i advise to have the cook replaced as soon as possible.
