This place is a carnivore’s heaven!

Being a big fan of the Maddox Street branch I was hugely pleased that they opened a City branch and as soon as I heard about the opening I made the booking here, for comparison purposes obviously :)

We (group of 5) went there on 20th August for lunch and were seated by the kitchen at the back of the restaurant. While I do not usually like being in this spot it was really nice seeing the food being cooked.

The meat was cooked to absolute perfection and the cuts of meat were fantastically huge and so soft they cut like butter with a hot knife – PERFECT! I think between 3 of the guys they consumed near on 2kg of beef and had absolutely no complaints – the waitress even suggested a doggy bag so that they could take their T-bones home for the “dogs”…

Desserts were lovely, the waitress was very clued in about what to recommend and made a couple of personal suggestions to the group that were immediately ordered and devoured. The Hot Fudge Sundae was a massive portion and I could only manage about half of it but I have no complaints about the flavour, it’s just a little disappointing to leave dessert…it always makes me feel a bit sad leaving something so yummy!!

Anyway – I will be going back as soon as I can stomach that much food once again and I would recommend anyone who appreciates a good steak to try it out – AMAZING!!
