The Brill (6-8 Caledonian Road, London, N1 9DT) Was not very impressed – although premises were nicely fitted out. Waitress did not know what the soup of the day was. I ordered the pie of the day – what arrived was burnt – and frankly I've had much nicer pukka pies from a fish & chip shop for a lot less than £10. Lemon tart for desert was OK. Prices were high and didn't seem good value for money. Mandatory 12.5% service charge.
